We call these classes “Not so Basic” obedience because they are geared towards socializing.
Classes are limited in size so dogs aren’t overwhelmed
We meet outside – classes are “weather permitting”
Location is the Parking lot @ Elizabeth Jacob Spa and Salon 18821 Frederick Rd Parkton MD 21120
Classes will be held on Sunday mornings – 50 minutes
From 11:00 am until 11:50 am
Price – $25 per dog
We will cover a different topic each week with a total of 6 topics – there is no obligation – come to as many classes as you wish
Week 1) Jumping Up – how to stop it – we will discuss what equipment you should use when training –
we’ll learn about clicker training and why it’s a great tool
Handlers should have adequate control over their dogs. You will be asked to move further away from the group if your dog has trouble seeing other dogs
Bring “high value” treats to the class because clicker training requires a food reward
